SOUL Broadband is available nationwide, excl. Tasmania, subject to
availability.
SOUL ADSL plans are paid by Credit Card (CC) or Direct Debit (DD)
monthly in advance.
Upload traffic is not counted.
* Consists of peak (9am - 4am) and off peak (4am - 9am customer’s
local time) download quota. Speed will be shaped for the period in
which the download quota has been exceeded (peak and/or off peak).
# Speed will be shaped to 64k once inclusive download quota is
reached until the start of the next billing month. |

THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW |
Monthly Access Charge
Monthly access charge is the monthly subscription fee for your plan.
This charge does not include excess download and other additional
charges. Monthly access charge is paid by Credit Card (CC) or Direct
Debit (DD) monthly in advance.
Download Quota
Download Quota means the amount of data you can download during a
one billing month. Unused allowance is forfeited.
Shaping
Once the specified monthly download quota is reached, download speed
is reduced to the "shaping" speed until the end of the billing
month. Shaping allows you to download even when you go over monthly
download quota and protect you from unexpected excess download
charges. |

Please Note: New ADSL plans available from 16.04.08 are for
customers who do not have any ADSL code on their line. To register
for our new ADSL/2+ plans, you will receive a new account with Soul
including a new username and email address eg: example@mysoul.tpg.com.au
Existing Soul customers:
- You need to apply for a cancellation of your current Soul ADSL
connection
- Any credit or email addresses you currently may have/get on your
existing account cannot be transferred to your new account.
- You will be without an internet service for approximately 5-8
working days
- Set up fees may apply
ADSL/2+ customers with another ISP:
- You need to cancel your existing service and apply for one of the
new Soul ADSL/2+ plans {cancellation fees could apply, please see
your current provider}
- You will be without an internet service for approximately 5-8
working days {Note: You must ask your current ISP to "drop your ADSL
codes" from your line. Failure to do this will delay your new
connection with Soul}
Coming soon - Our exciting new plans will soon be available to
Existing Soul customers and customers with an ADSL2+ service with
another ISP without the need to break your service connectivity or
ask your old ISP to cancel your plan - stay tuned for more
information!
Please note, further checks will be made once your application is
submitted:
- The telephone line you have provided is active & belongs to the
TELSTRA Network
- The exchange you connect to has available capacity
- There is no incompatible product on the telephone line you have
provided (e.g. part of a rotary group or commander system, have
conference call facility, or PABX)
- The cabling infrastructure between the exchange and your premises
is compatible with ADSL2+ service (incompatible infrastructure inc.
RIM, PGS, Sub-Exchange)
- You are not using a pre paid telephone line
